МThe model ASBmm is developed within the framework of a joint project by IHE-UNESCO and SIC ICWC. IHE-UNESCO - Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands (Mr. Joop de Schutter). Participants in ASBmm from IHE-UNESCO: Joop de Schutter (project management),

SIC ICWC – Scientific-Information Center of the Interstate Coordination Water Commission of Central Asia – was established on 5th of December 1992 by a decision of ICWC. The Center maintains a Central Asian regional information system and water-environmental portal (www.cawater-info.net), conducts analysis and informs ICWC members and the general public about important developments in Central Asian water sector, coordinates and participates in international projects, prepares various publications (www.icwc-aral.uz). SIC ICWC is collaborating with a network of scientific and design organizations of the five countries of Central Asia, has national branches in three countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan). The Headquarters of SIC ICWC is located in the city of Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan). The Director is Professor V.A.Dukhovny.
